The Pacific Light Cable Network (PLCN) is a trans-Pacific submarine fiber-optic cable system spanning approximately 11,800 kilometers, providing high-capacity data transmission between Los Angeles, California, and landing points in Taiwan and the Philippines. PLCN aimed to offer the first direct submarine cable connectivity between Hong Kong and Los Angeles, the US, spanning approxiamately 13000 km, with the shortest.
